Passionate about my work, I have spent a life time acquiring knowledge and experience. My greatest satisfaction is to share it with others and be able to connect and communicate with likeminded people, equally interested in their work.
This has motivated me to write and speak on professional subjects and hopefully introduce a fresh perspective on existing knowledge and offer some new ideas.

"The greatest temptation for people working in the "helping" professions is to help!. This combined with the belief that this help is within the realm of our capability, creates a potent combination. Such beliefs, even in the general population often lead to disappointments and unfulfilled expectations. And when such optimism and altruism moves us to cross professional boundaries, instead of the desired positive outcome, we may cause additional difficulties, for already fragile people".

Book Synopsis:
Coaching has increased exponentially in the last 10-15 years, with a peak of activity in more recent times mainly due to demand from business.
Coaching today is defined by a multitude of clients, suppliers, coaching models, methodologies and tools, backed by increasing but un-coordinated research, and a growing number of coaching associations and coaching training providers.
As a result, the emerging picture is fragmented, the picture of an industry's growing pains towards becoming a bona-fide regulated profession.
The Unified Theory of Coaching and The Unified Coaching Model propose a way to integrate and harmonize these fragments around a complex but uncomplicated and flexible frame, with a view to bring together the various strands that define coaching today. A complex evolving systems approach is used as the main frame of reference for this attempt at integration.
The book will appeal to practicing coaches, coaches to be, psychology and business psychology students, HR practitioners as well as a wider audience interested in people and talent management matters.
